Area Rug Cleaning in Naples, FL

Your area rug deserves more than a quick once-over on your living room floor. That’s why most rugs come to our facility, where they get the full attention they need – not worked around furniture in a room. Before we start, we identify the rug’s material, wool, cotton, nylon, or polyester since each one calls for a different approach. Edges and fringe get the same attention as the rest of the rug, not an afterthought.

Why Area Rugs Need Different Care Than Wall-to-Wall Carpet

Area rugs and wall-to-wall carpet might look similar, but they’re built differently — and cleaning them the same way can cause damage that doesn’t happen with fitted carpet. Rugs have their own construction, materials, and vulnerabilities that require a different approach.

Different backing.

Wall-to-wall carpet is secured to a padded, tacked-down structure that supports it during cleaning. Rugs often have a looser backing (or none at all) and aren’t anchored to the floor, so they need to be handled and cleaned in a way that doesn’t stretch, shift, or strain the material.

Fringe requires separate handling.

Many area rugs have fringe that’s fragile and prone to fraying, yellowing, or unraveling if it’s cleaned with the same equipment or process used on the rug’s body. Fringe typically needs its own gentler cleaning method entirely.

Dye stability varies rug to rug.

Area rugs, especially handmade, wool, or natural-dye rugs, are more likely to bleed or run color when exposed to certain cleaning solutions or excess moisture. Wall-to-wall carpet is manufactured with more standardized, colorfast dyes, so this risk is much lower.

Shrinkage risk is higher.

Because rugs aren’t stretched and secured to the floor the way carpet is, excess moisture or high heat during cleaning can cause a rug to shrink or become misshapen, something that isn’t a concern with fitted carpet.

What Our Customers Say

A heartfelt story of trust, family, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing a loved one’s home is in good hands.

“I had a 8×10 area rug that needed cleaning and Cameron was kind enough to schedule me at the end of the day. We are not capable of rolling and transporting the carpet. This worked out great for us. Would highly recommend this service.”

“Cameron and his team member did an amazing job cleaning my carpets, which had long term stubborn stains other companies have tried to treat over the years. One is the national company you’ve heard of…. They look brand new!! And they’re a very nice family owned business. You won’t be disappointed!!”
